On the afternoon of January 25, 2026, Nguyen Tat Thanh University held a comprehensive review of doctoral dissertations in Information Technology in a serious, professional, and highly scientific academic atmosphere. This is an important milestone in the doctoral training program, aiming to assess the independent research capacity, the ability to synthesize scientific knowledge, and the in-depth research orientation of doctoral candidates before entering the dissertation phase.<\/div>\n

The review was conducted with the participation of a review board consisting of reputable professors, associate professors, and doctors with extensive experience in the field of Information Technology training and research, from leading training and research institutions in the country. During the evaluation session, the doctoral candidate presented a comprehensive thesis focusing on systematizing the theoretical foundation and synthesizing domestic and international research works directly related to the chosen research direction. The presentation clearly demonstrated a systematic approach to the scientific problem, from identifying the research context and analyzing published methods and models to identifying research gaps and remaining issues that need further exploration.<\/div>\n

The evaluation committee highly appreciated the logical, rigorous, and scientific structure of the thesis, as well as the candidate’s ability to analyze, compare, and evaluate different research approaches. In particular, the thesis demonstrated an up-to-date understanding of modern research trends in the field of Information Technology, reflecting a proactive approach to new knowledge and the ability to keep pace with the rapid development of science and technology in the context of current digital transformation.<\/div>\n

Besides highlighting strengths, the Council also offered many constructive scientific critiques, focusing on clarifying the research scope, optimizing research objectives and questions, and suggesting adjustments to the approach to enhance the feasibility and scientific value of the dissertation in the future. The Council’s comments and suggestions not only demonstrated in-depth expertise but also provided clear direction, helping the doctoral candidate refine the research proposal and build a solid foundation for the doctoral dissertation development phase.<\/div>\n

The evaluation took place in an open academic exchange, with many questions and discussions revolving around theoretical issues, research methods, and the practical applicability of the proposed research direction. The doctoral candidate displayed a serious and receptive attitude, demonstrating the ability to clearly, coherently, and convincingly critique, explain, and incorporate the Council’s feedback.<\/div>\n

Through the review of the Overview Thesis, it can be affirmed that the PhD program in Information Technology at Nguyen Tat Thanh University is being implemented in accordance with the orientation of improving training quality, standardizing scientific research activities, and academic integration. This activity not only helps doctoral candidates review their entire theoretical foundation and research orientation, but also contributes to enhancing scientific thinking, independent research capacity, and academic integrity \u2013 core requirements for a doctoral candidate.<\/div>\n
