On May 9, 2026, the Faculty of Information Technology (IT) – Nguyen Tat Thanh University organized the Graduation Thesis Evaluation program for students of the 2022 cohort in Information Technology and Software Engineering (Phase 2).<\/strong><\/p>\n

A vibrant academic atmosphere at the Faculty of Information Technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The evaluation session took place in a serious, professional, and enthusiastic atmosphere, with the participation of numerous lecturers, experts, businesses, and student groups working on their theses. More than just an academic defense, the program also served as a bridge connecting training, research, and the practical needs of businesses in today’s era of rapid digital transformation. This is a crucial academic activity, marking the completion of students’ professional knowledge, research capabilities, and practical implementation skills after many years of study and training at the university. <\/p>\n

Through this activity, the Faculty of Information Technology continues to affirm its training orientation that is closely linked to practice, student-centered, and promotes innovation and scientific research among students.<\/p>\n

The goal is to enhance research capacity and practical application.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The graduation thesis evaluation activity is organized to provide students with the opportunity to present their research results and apply their specialized knowledge to solve real-world problems in the fields of information technology and software engineering. It also provides students with a chance to demonstrate their critical thinking skills, teamwork abilities, system analysis and design capabilities, programming skills, solution implementation skills, and academic presentation skills before a panel of experts. <\/p>\n

Many of this year’s projects focus on modern technological trends such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, big data processing, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), web and mobile application development, cloud computing, blockchain, process automation, and digital transformation for businesses. The projects not only emphasize theoretical aspects but also aim for high applicability and real-world implementation potential. <\/p>\n

Through this program, the Faculty aims to improve the quality of training, encourage students to conduct scientific research, and help learners access a professional working environment before officially entering the labor market. This is also an opportunity for lecturers and experts to assess the extent to which students meet the output standards in the context of the rapidly developing and constantly innovating IT industry. <\/p>\n

The evaluation committee comprises many experienced experts and lecturers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The thesis evaluation committee consists of a panel of judges comprising lecturers, scientists, and experts with high professional qualifications and extensive experience in the fields of information technology, software engineering, data science, and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

The council, comprised of PhDs, Associate Professors, and senior lecturers from the Faculty of Information Technology, along with experts from technology companies, contributed to a multifaceted perspective bridging the gap between academic and practical implementation. With an objective, serious, and responsible approach, the council members provided insightful comments and valuable suggestions to help students refine their research topics, both in terms of research content and application potential. <\/p>\n

During the evaluation process, the committee focused on criteria such as the novelty of the topic, research methodology, system completeness, practical applicability, implementation efficiency, security, processing performance, as well as the students’ presentation and critical thinking skills.<\/p>\n

The participation of experts not only enhances the professional quality of the defense but also motivates students to be more confident in their future research and career development.<\/p>\n

Students of the 2022 cohort confidently presented their projects on modern technology.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students from the 2022 cohort of the Information Technology and Software Engineering program presented a variety of projects, showcasing creativity, a spirit of learning, and the ability to quickly adapt to new technological trends.<\/p>\n

During the presentations, the student groups demonstrated thorough preparation, from report content and system interface to processing models and live product demos. Many projects showed a good combination of theoretical foundations and practical implementation, while also addressing problems in business, education, e-commerce, healthcare, transportation, and data management. <\/p>\n

Beyond focusing on technical aspects, many groups also invest in researching user experience, security, performance optimization, and system scalability. Some outstanding projects even integrate AI technology to support automation, data analysis, or predict user behavior, demonstrating the ability of IT students to access advanced technologies. <\/p>\n

During the defense session, the students demonstrated a proactive attitude, strong logical thinking skills, and excellent professional reflexes in answering questions from the panel. This is evidence of the systematic training process and dynamic learning environment that the Faculty of Information Technology always strives for. <\/p>\n

Connecting training with businesses and the digital transformation trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of the highlights of this year’s thesis evaluation program is the close connection between training content and the practical needs of businesses and current digital transformation trends.<\/p>\n

Many research topics are based on real-world business problems, focusing on the potential for application and implementation after research. This demonstrates the practical training orientation of the Faculty of Information Technology, which not only helps students master specialized knowledge but also develops professional skills, adaptability, and problem-solving thinking. <\/p>\n

Through the thesis writing process, students have the opportunity to access the research and development process of technology products according to professional standards, from requirements survey, system analysis, solution design, programming, testing to evaluation of implementation effectiveness. This is an important asset that helps students be ready to work in a business environment immediately after graduation. <\/p>\n

Furthermore, the collaboration with experts and businesses opens up many opportunities for cooperation, internships, and employment for students, contributing to improving the quality of information technology human resources in the era of integration and digital development.<\/p>\n

Affirming the quality of training at the Faculty of Information Technology<\/strong><\/p>\n

The graduation thesis evaluation activity is not only an opportunity to summarize the students’ learning process but also reflects the quality of training, research, and innovation in teaching methods of the Faculty of Information Technology, Nguyen Tat Thanh University.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the Faculty has consistently focused on updating its training programs to reflect new technological trends, enhancing practical activities, scientific research, business collaboration, and comprehensive skill development for students. Many generations of the Faculty’s graduates are currently working at major technology companies both domestically and internationally, contributing to the school’s reputation and educational brand. <\/p>\n

Through academic programs such as thesis evaluation, the Faculty continues to build a modern, creative, and internationally integrated learning environment, creating a solid foundation for students to develop their professional competence and career skills in the digital age.<\/p>\n

The graduation thesis is not just an academic course but also a milestone marking the maturity of students after many years of studying at university. Hours spent researching, programming, testing, and perfecting the product have helped students accumulate experience, confidence, and a professional work ethic. <\/p>\n

The second round of graduation thesis evaluations for the 2022 cohort has concluded with many positive impressions, acknowledging the efforts of the faculty and students of the Faculty of Information Technology. The success of the program further affirms the spirit of innovation, creativity, and quality of training of the Faculty in the field of information technology and software engineering. <\/p>\n

With their foundation of knowledge, skills, and a spirit of continuous learning, the students of the 2022 cohort are expected to become competent information technology engineers, programmers, and technology experts, ready to contribute to the development of businesses and society in the era of digital transformation.<\/p>\n
